Tony requested 3 quotes from Window Professionals in South Yarra

  Removal, manufacturer/supply and install external windows and doors. More specifically,
1. Removal of windows/french style doors (i.e. 3 panels) and replacement with 3 panel sliding stacker doors (approx. dimensions 2.7m wide x 2.3m high. Note 2 of 3 panels to be sliding doors and 1-panel to be fixed.
2. Removal and replacement of windows in upstairs main bedroom (approx. dimensions 2.7m wide x 2.45m high). 6-panels in total with top 3-panels to be wind out awning windows and bottom 3-panels to be fixed panels (approx. 0.86m high).
3. removal and replacement of awning sash in upstairs 2nd bedroom (approx. dimensions 1.6m high x 0.835m wide but note bottom of sash has a lip of at least 10mm.
4. removal and replacement of bathroom window. (approx. dimensions 1.83m wide x 0.695m high - needs/preferably to be sliding). Assuming choose to go timber option, outer timber frame to use 90mmx35mm timber
Note windows need to be primed and external need to be painted/finished with 2-3 top coats in specific colour to meet Body Corporate requirements (colour to be specified by owner)
Happy to provide photos and sketches of required look and other requirements

Also happy to consider both timber and aluminium options subject to advice and costs
Option 1: kiln dried or other equivalent hard wearing hardwood or
Option 2: aluminium

Glazing options/choices to be decided by owner but please include the following options in quote:
Option 1: 6.38mm clear laminated safety glass
Option 2: 4mm/8/4mm clear toughened double glazing.

Note my apartment is a 2-storey apartment that is the top level of the apartment block (i.e. my first floor is the equivalent of the 4th storey from the ground (level 3) and my 2nd floor is on the equivalent of the 5th storey from the ground (level 4) so the hire of cherry picker or scissor lift will be required.
