Scope of Works: ALUMINIUM WINDOWS AND DOORS SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of works includes, but is not limited to the following;

• Allow for aluminium framed windows and doors as per the architectural drawings
• Allow to supply & install
• Allow for commercial range
• Allow for window & sliding door locks
• Window colour: ‘TBS’
• Window furniture colour to match windows
• Allow for glazing requirements as per the energy efficiency report
o Note: allow double glazed to all items regardless
• Price flyscreens / flydoors separately
• Windows to be wrapped
• Allow for tile return to ensuite windows
• Allow for all other windows to be plaster return
• Allow restrictors to all winders to firs/second floor under 1.7m off the floor
• Allow obscure glazing as per the drawings – type ‘Translucent’
• Allow full height windows/doors as detailed
• Allow site measure for shop front window W1
• Allow protection to openings as per table 24 of the fire engineering report
o Allow Option 1 (6mm toughened glass) where available or otherwise Option 3 (metal mesh screens)
o Allow metal mesh screens to the existing ground floor windows W2, W3, W4


NOTE: When determining floor to ceiling windows:
• You must allow 20mm for timber floor covering; and
• 10mm for tiled floor covering
• The floor finishes must finish flush with the top of the bottom sill.

PLEASE NOTE -

• You must allow for any other work to complete the above.
• Allowance must be tendered for as per the specification and drawings, if there is a variance or mistake with the plans or specification the contractor/supplier shall immediately notify this office or it is deemed the contractor/supplier has made allowance for the more expensive option.
• Unless noted otherwise in your exclusions within your quotation, it is noted by this office the above scope of works is included in your quotation.
• Site MUST be cleaned at the end of each day.
