Hi, when I bought this house I noticed there was a rising damp ( falky, blistering paintworks, popping plasterworks ) on the internal walls next to bathroom ( Kitchen, livng room and 3rd bedroom ) and all on the south side. I have been advised by my plumber that the ground along the south side of the house is always wet and that there is insufficient space between the subfloor and the ground. The house has also musty damp smell . I would like your advise as to what can be done and the cost involved in fixing this poor ventilation and keeping the ground dry. Thanks and regards, Maria
