Repair wooden/spring seat support under lounge suite

I have a lounge sofa that comes in 3 pieces (the 2 ends are recliners). The support in middle seat is broken in the seat and now it slouches when you sit on it. Underneath there are horizontal metal "springs" that are attached to a wooden beam about 10cm wide that was nailed to the front running left to right and it is this wooden part that has snapped. The springs are still in tact.
