New TEAC TV still in box. My 'big' first issue is getting help lifting it into position!!! I am sure I could set it up for FOXTEL IQ box etc. but I require some professional help with at least a couple of other issues, especially as I have never had a SMART TV before. I need it to replace existing TV (still plugged into FOXTEL set etc.) which uses FOXTEL satellite dish. There is an existing antenna on roof which is unused due to FOXTEL. I want my new TV to be set up as per a normal new TV would be done - but plugged into my FOXTEL IQ4 box. New SMART TV also has FREEVIEW and all free-to-air 'extra' channels so I am not sure whether I can get all of that through my FOXTEL satellite dish or if it also needs to be plugged into the existing unused antenna on the roof? NOTE: I am assuming the antenna still works as there is a cable that comes through the wall but it is not set up for use. If it does not work, I would be happy just to set it all up via FOXTEL for the time being even if it means no access to some extra free-to-air channels. My finances are limited due to me being on a disability pension but of course I would like access to all channels if the cost was within my budget. At present I cannot access any other 'extra' free-to-air channels apart from ABC, 7, 9 and 10. I can only get 9GO, 7MATE & 10PEACH due to the way it is set up at present. Apologies for long details but I hope it all makes sense. It probably sounds a lot more work than it really is. Anyway, thank you very much for your time and I look forward to getting some quotes because I really want this done by "yesterday"?!? I wrote by one week but the earlier the better. Regarding the cost, the lowest option given to me was between $0 and $499 but that range was way too large for this job and my budget (in my humble opinion!) unless the antenna was a problem. But I would not get a new one anyway as I stated previously. So it is really just putting the TV into position and setting it up. Perhaps I may only require a handyman and that's why I am trying to be as detailed as possible. Kind regards. Rod from Portarlington, Victoria.
