Repair Leak from Behind tiles in Shower. May need to replace tiles/Wall

There are leaks from behind the taps and tiles from the shower. It's not able to simply be re-sealed as it seems that in the shower bath we may need to take off all the tiles, re sheet the walls, re waterproof and then retile.
The tiles seem to have been glued directly onto gyp rock.
