  Unprofessional, deceitful, dismissive of your needs. The treadmill broke down within 1 minute of operation. I was quoted to fix the problem which I agreed to but when they came to replace the part they told me I wanted a new mat and a running board which was broken this would have cost another $500 on top of the $200 I already paid. If I was told this to start with I would have payed the $99 service fee and left it at that since the treadmill only cost me $750. When I complained they were dismissive and placed the blame on me. I was never informed by the first service person that I needed to replace all the parts and I have the documentation to prove it. I was informed by the second service person these parts needed replacing and this is listed on the second lot of documents. The second service person also told me I could use the treadmill for a short time and sprayed the mat and board with some type of silicon to stop the friction. They denied all this basically calling me a liar. I found the person Judy one of the directors when I spoke to her to be rude. When I rang the first time to complain to her about the treadmill she said that I was hard to deal with and would call me back, I said \"I am looking forward to your phone call.\" Her reply was I am not. I would not recommend these people to anyone.

Serial Number 080357 Dear Tony Further to our phone conversations over the past week please find the following. 2/2/11: Request to repair the above treadmill. Fault: When you turn on all appears normal until you press start, 5 to 10 seconds & “E1” appears on screen, then screen fades. 7/2/11: Joseph 1 of our Technicians on site 12pm to 12.30 He found Console lights up, incline ok. Motor won’t go with “E1” on display. Console speaker has crackle noise. Pick up console. Safety key & 2 x motor control boards for repair in Workshop. Comms cable continuity tested ok. NOTE: Treadmill has broken deck & mat not in good condition. Customer will fix himself. Charges: Service Call $99.00 Workshop Labour 30mins in advance $38.50 Workshop: Re-solder dry joints on both motor control boards. Check operation. Bench test ok. Actual Time 1 hour 30mins 10/2/11: I rang you with a quote $140 to $160 for the motor control board repairs & labour in workshop & on site to fit one of the repaired boards into your machine. You refused to pay for the repair of the second board, so I reduced the cost at a loss to The Firm. 14/2/11: Satvir, another of our Technicians returned & found the deck is still broken. Re-fitted repaired parts. Tested motor, drawing 60V & 2amp without load, 8V & 9amp when walking. Advised requires new mat & deck is still broken. You advised Satvir you will replace yourself. Charges: Extra over Workshop Labour (Actual 1 hour = $77.00) You paid 30min $38.50 Motor Control Board Components $ 8.25 10.55am to 11.30am = 35mins = $57.75 You were charged $49.50 22/3/11: You rang, have used treadmill for the first time & come up “E1” 28/3/11: Martin our Senior Technician returned to access your treadmill. Requires new mat, deck & motor control board repair. You indicated that you had not been told about the mat & deck but this is not true. Joseph informed you on the very first visit you have to replace the deck as it is cracked & badly damaged on the surface & will continue to damage the mat if not replaced. The Firm have repaired both of your motor control boards so we suggest you replace the deck & the spare motor control board can be used as you have damaged the first one by using the treadmill with a broken deck causing the motor to overload. Charges: 1.55pm to 2.20pm = Minimum charge $49.50 You were charged $Nil The Firm do not feel we are responsible for your treadmill not working as our Technicians have discussed this job in detail & have determined that until the deck is replaced the treadmill will not work & will continue to damage the motor control board.
