Les and the team did a great job fixing up my upstairs bathroom. My family spotted a patch of mold on the downstairs ceiling, which was quickly followed by dripping water when the upstairs shower ran. Les discovered the full scope of the problem had extended beyond just the shower, as mold had grown around the walls and floor below the tiles. Les and the team were able to completely remove the mold, replace the effected wall and floor boards, waterproof it all, retile and rebuild the shower. The repaired sections match the existing sections cleanly, with no hint of the change. Overall very happy with the final result.

  Finished job was very good, problems arose at the end of the job over increased cost as the job dragged out. The original quote was for 2 men working for 2 days, a total of 4 days work. The original quote was agreed upon and accepted by both parties but increased due to extra materials being purchased. I was happy to pay the actual cost of the extra materials (which I priced at Bunnings) but was asked to pay considerably more, which I refused. This caused some tension between Les and I. The quality of workmanship by Siggy the plasterer and the finished product was very good but unfortunately the whole experience was spoilt due to an unpleasant disagreement over inflated material costs.

  Job was ok, I realised the job completed ended up more expensive for what was actually done. Discussed the use of fibre glass prior to hiring but I don't believe it was used. Additional job of putting top coat on the ceiling plaster to just smooth it out - that job was very quick. The handyman who did the job was very nice though.

  We started with great communication, timely service and competitive pricing. We were happy with the works as we paid installments. Then we paid a final amount for the last of the job, as we had no reason to reconsider this. Should have. I've had to chase That Handyman since the final payment. Works remained unfinished despite being told almost every day "we'll be there tomorrow". Almost a year later and there has been no good will, no refund, they have ignored a VCAT Order and laughed at the system. He has became abusive and threatening towards us even though he has been paid in full, not completed the job and will not provide any indication of completion. Enforcement action being taken. Use at your own risk. We are disappointed as he started off very well. It is unfortunate but we cannot warn you enough about That Handyman.
