The extension line seems to be rooted (how could we know - I can't test it) The appalling Telstra handset on the wall works when it feels like it. What I really want is decent advice - I'm prepared to pay for a fair amount of rewiring of power points and system connectivity. I WANT to buy a new cordless phone system but I also want to know that it can be there without a load of unsightly wires and the remants of the wall phone and splitter thingy. I can't believe it's so small and seems to be so hard but I don't want to bounced around Telstra. First of all, all I want is for someone to give me a real assessment of the problem - If you sound reasonable and know what you're talking about I'm more than happy to go with you. Anybody prepared to take this on?
