This was quite a difficult job as no-one was familiar with the floodgate device and the firm that originally installed it could not be found. i managed to find a company in Sydney who advised that a steel fabricator should be able to do this. Paul called immediately then came out promptly to have a look. he gave me an indicative quote but said until he lifted out the whole device he couldn't be sure that the quote would be exact. We went ahead based on the good ratings on this site. When he had accepted the quote, Paul made a template of the device and then came back to install it a few weeks later. it is a perfect fit and a bit stronger than the previous device. whether it will function as a floodgate will be tested if we ever have a major flood. Paul is very professional and friendly and we are happy to recommend his work.

Corey came out promptly and had a good look at the job. it was clear he was competent to do this and he was very professional in the way he went about his assessment for an unusual job. He provided us with very good advice and then quoted for two options. The quote from another ( also very professional) provider was very close and it was very difficult to decide which quote to take as two of the providers were clearly of a high standard. Eventually we decided to take the slightly cheaper quote, and also took into account the large number of positive feedback comments this second provider had. If things had fallen through with this provider, we would have been very happy to use CJK Engineering.
