we have stair rails that are too high and we want to decrease their height (within legal limits). the way the stair rails are structured, the total number of cuts should only be 4-6 cuts and then the screws attaching the stair to the walls relocated accordingly and caps put on top of the cut areas. we envisage the job should take 2 hours.
