My new block of land was due to title this month but has been delayed. in november 2007, i signed a fixed price contract with my builder, porter davis, for a site start in may 2008.
unfortunately, due to the delay, my site start will now occur in june. because of this, porter davis wishes to charge me a $2000 price increase.
i have looked through my hia and porter davis contract and there seems to be no clause that states that porter davis can charge a price increase due to a delay in site start. however, i would like a solicitor to look over the contract and help dispute the issue with porter davis.
