Hello,
i am seeking quotes for supply and installation of solar panels, battery and regulator for my motorhome. see britz web page and look at explorer 4 berth. the house battery is 12 v so i am seeking panels that are 12 v. my estimate is that i will require about 170 w of panels, so either one or two panels would be acceptable. existing battery is wet lead acid of 100 ah capacity but it may need to be replaced with a new 140 ah battery to ensure sufficient run time. i see no need to go for agm unless you reckon the extra cost would give a longer life span. low volt cut out trips at 10.9 v. location is hobart. please call me if you want to discuss details or arrange inspection or photos of the vehicle.
