We have a West facing large window onto enclosed stairs that since we chopped down a tree gets extremely hot. We are looking for an external shade blind or awning to reduce/remove the sun streaming in and overheating.
Plan would be to have down in summer and up in winter.
This window is tinted so we cant really see the shade through it and on the side which we can't see so we are looking for cheap effective solution (we don't see it basically).
Need ability to Open and close (bottom of window is 2 meters above ground level) but infrequently so mechanics etc total overkill.
