I had my current home alarm (Solution 6 + 6 EDM ) installed about 10 years ago. It is still working perfectly with no problems. When this was installed ,for some reason the old alarm system was left on the wall.I was not home at the time and my husband thought it would be OK. It looks dreadful. I am now ready to renovate the room and want the old system removed from the wall so we can re-plaster. My husband has had a look and thinks that the new alarm system is somehow wired to the old system to run the siren. He obviously doesn't want to touch it. Can some-one remove the old alarm and make sure our current one still performs properly?
