We have an existing home alarm system already installed. it has a solution front panel and has approx 7 sensors. at present if the alarm is switched on (not armed) the following is observed:-... We have an existing home alarm system already installed. it has a solution front panel and has approx 7 sensors. at present if the alarm is switched on (not armed) the following is observed:- 1. there is a fault message displayed on the front panel. 2. the alarm beeps every 30 seconds. the alarm used to have a "back-to-base" setup. this is no longer in place as the telephone landline is no longer active. job summary:- 1. fix the fault message on the front panel. 2. stop the alarm from beeping every 30 seconds. we would need to make the alarm system as a stand alone setup now as the telephone landline is no longer active. this could be the reason it is beeping. please keep in mind that i already had a technition over but he was not able to solve the problem because he could get the alarm to "default". at the moment looking for quotes only.
