Tiled roof some flashing replacement carpentry to fix rot

Quoted on getting a box gutter replaced which was leaking and starting to rot a supporting beam. Since I was getting this done, decided to clean all roof tiles and repoint and rebed tiles. Gutter replacement went well. No complaints here. Craig, the owner was responsive and attentive. Can't complain about the above. Repointing and rebeding result was quite poor. Every time I look at this my blood pressure rises. I collected a bucket full of junk and old mortar from my gutters after the job had finished. During the cleaning of the roof, I came home to find that all my downlights had leaked water from the roof. Apparently, the roof was tested for leaks; I now have a leak in bathroom skylight. Almost all ridge caps that I can see have colored compound smeared all over them. Defeats the purpose of having them cleaned in the first place, and looks hideous! The compound between the tiles and the fascia is uneven and patchy. Looks quite unsightly compared to other houses in the area that have been rebeded . Unfortunately, the actual people doing the work took no pride in the quality of their work. The compound looks like its been slapped on, no finese or craftsmanshipt at all. I had to clean my gables the night after the job as they had colored compound on them. I collected nails, mortar and tile fragments from my garden bed. The tradesmen doing the job used my ladders, which isn't really an issue, except for the fact that the left them dirty with mortar and colored tile compound which I can\t get off. I contacted Craig about these matters and he was receptive to trying to correct them. Unfortunately there was not a whole lot he could do, other than some minor touch ups. Overall I was really disappointed with the repointing and rebedding. Craig was receptive and attentive, but his tradesmen really let him down. I decided to give excellent roofing the rebedding work despite being some $300 than another quote I had which came recommended. I regret this decision.
