We have a leaking skylight in the kitchen, which only leaks when we have major storms. the skylight is 1 x 1 metres and it seems to leak on the outside of the skylight rather than inside the skylight.. hope that helps...we are about to have the house painted would like to have the skylight repaired at the same time...
