Alex was very quick to respond when I posted my job, coming out to provide my quote within 24 hours of the job being posted online. Once here he explained to me in detail the work required to restore my roof , and clearly outlined my options in what was required to complete the job. He then gave me 3 quotes based on a choice of 3 different quality materials and level of warranty. which I thought was excellent. I had no idea what was involved with a roof restoration but Alex was able to discuss my options in a clear, simple, professional manner, allowing me to feel at ease with him and the work that he would do. Once the job was agreed Alex worked on our roof over the course of a few days (it was around the xmas/new yrs period), taking his time to ensure the work completed was of the highest quality, even when that meant working on the weekend, He kept us informed every step of the way, letting us know where he was at and what the next phase was. Alex definitely knows his stuff and you can feel assured that you have someone that is very experienced and cares about the quality of his work. His communication was great throughout the whole process, phoning or texting when necessary, and always explaining where he was at at before leaving for the day. We certainly gave Alex a run for his money given that our roof is around 50 years old and has never been attended to in that whole time (we\'ve only been in the house for about 5 yrs and so had to wait till we saved enough for the cost of such a big job), so the job wasn\'t as straightforward as Alex first thought, but he took his time to work through the issues and still stayed true to his original quote despite the extra time it took. He even painted our spare roof tiles so that we would have the correct coloured tiles if we ever need to replace any tiles in the future, all for no extra charge. When choosing a business to complete our roof job, our decision was based on value for money and customer service.
