Replace flashing around a skylight to stop it leaking in heavy rain

Skylights leak during heavy rain. it has been recommended that the flashing be replaced with wider/deeper flashing.
i would like a quote on this as well as an opinion on alternative ways to seal the skylights (which can open but don't need to).
the roof is make of slate.
currently two of the four skylights are leaking but all four will need to be repaired.
