The roof over our loungeroom is a flat iron roof constructed in the early 1970s. During periods of heavy rain water tends to sit on the roof instead of flowing into the gutters. The gradient of the roof is not steep enough to allow water to flow into the gutters instead it is flowing underneath the roof and into the internal ceiling.
