Leaking tiles/ridge cap and valley in two storey house

1. above our family room we have had a number of wet patches appear on the ceiling. it appears that the ridge cap may need some attention. there are no broken tiles. tiles are concrete.
2. water has also come in the ceiling of main bedroom. the valley above this room needs attention. the tiles touch one another and you cant see the metal valley in this part of the huse. i think that the valley is clogged with dirt etc but i cant see because of the tight fitting tiles in this part of the house. it is double storey house so this section is at the highest point. the roof also has a steep pitch.
