I have an 8 metre by 4 1/2 meter (approximate) patio roof with colourbond that I have built. I have been struck down with some illness and am looking for a roofer to finish the job. The job entails trimming the overhanging colourbond on the sides and the back and putting a flashing on the roof up against the house, a flashing down each side and a gutter on the back.
I have the gutter already here. I also have the flashings but Lysaught have sent the wrong ones and I am waiting for some replacements. All of the flashings and gutter will be here for the job to be done.
I have limited experience with roofers. My only experience was with a "family business" (that did a replacement of the main roof of the house) that gave the impression that they were going to do the roof only to sub contract the job to a lunatic and the whole roof had to come off and be redone. There were dramas with the second go at it as well by the second crew who were subcontracted by the family business ...
So, I am after a bloke who is experienced with roofing (a tradesman) and who will come and finish the job himself.
I am more than happy to pay a fair price for the work that needs to be done and am looking for a good quality job. I imagine that there is a few hours work for a bloke that knows what he is doing.
