Hi,
I recently installed 2 whirlybirds on a 1 storey house and I think it was not done properly as there are gaps showing between the flashing and the actual tiles. I think this should be covered in the event of bad weather and to prevent birds entering the roof space. I still have some tiles saved. If possible, a quick fix is to cover the flashing around the whirlybird with another set of flashing and if possible, check if the whirlybird position is correct in respect to the ridge capping.
