He didn't think I was serious about the job. So I hired someone else who did. I've hired a bunch of contractors - bad contractors always try the same deal … continual comments about how expensive it will be etc … to see if the customer flinches. When I didn't bite - he joked twice that he was not the plumber for me - I said fine, see ya, I don't think it's going to work out. I think he was surprised to see a customer say no, get off my roof, I don't want you to quote anymore. 2ND REPLY - I laugh about your claim that I requested a short cut - you tried to high pressure sucker me into removing irrelevant guttering (which once slotted back) 3 other plumbers had no issue with ! UNLESS LOGIC & EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG. You must rely on dumb customers. Deal with it - not all customers fall for your waffle and no others had an issue. Disappointing.
