Due to the age of the house the parapet walls keep cracking and water eventually leeks through cracks into the ceiling . I have lost part of the ceilings already due to this problems and plumbers adviced me to renew gutters but this has not fixed the problem . This is an easy job for someone who understands the matter.Only metal cappings will make the parapet walls waterproof.
