Buying a house located in middle park with settlement on 15 Oct. Surveyor has said that the property may need restumping, but nobody has actually looked at them (diagnoses was made on the basis that the internal doors are not straight, there is some cracking plasterwork, and there are a couple of soft spots in floor of one room ). Would like an assessment and quote.
We would like to do as soon as possible after the 15 Oct. Will need to organise with real estate agent a time to view property prior to 15 Oct if require entry to house. External access is available anytime (as no one living at house. Ideally looking for a contractor who is qualified, has the necessary memberships, can arrange council permits and provides a 10 year + guarantee. May also require replacement of vents to allow greater air flow under house.
