The sub-floor area can only be accessed by removing floor boards (which hasn’t yet been done). There are gaps under the skirting boards and door architraves varying from 1cm to 4cm. There appears... The sub-floor area can only be accessed by removing floor boards (which hasn’t yet been done). There are gaps under the skirting boards and door architraves varying from 1cm to 4cm. There appears to be rotting to the floor boards in the living room (there are black marks around the nail holes and between boards). The living room has inadequate sub-floor ventilation due to the damp course at the side of the house being built up by a previous owner so that the paving outside is approximately 10cm higher than the floor inside. We are planning to fix this by removing the paving at the side and excavating the ground, prior to having the house re-stumped.

Corner has dropped around 4 inches over the last 100 years. Just need it to stop dropping any further. Is a nice easy job for someone, with easy access to the effected area.
