Kitchen renovation / resurfacing of existing cabinets

The current kitchen requires re-surfacing of cabinets, benchtop, and installation of new cabinet door handles, polishing existing sink / tiles, and installation of new tapware. Space under the sink needs to be refined to fit a dishwasher. New appliances will be purchased privately and installed privately, however will require plumbing for dishwasher.
Kitchen is U shaped, and we would like to see if removing one of the internal walls, and re positioning the existing cabinets is possible.
The kitchen layout is good, just needs touch up with the cabinets.
