Our oven requires replacing asap. It currently sits within an alcove/hearth and current building regulations stipulate a minimum distance between the top of any new oven and the overhead mantle/hearth. In order to comply with these regulations, before we put a new oven in place, we need to raise the height of the mantle/hearth.
