Hi I have combined a small bathroom with a small hallway to make it a bigger bathroom. The old doorway will need to be removed and the two ceilings made into one. Also, the ceiling manhole to the roof, will need to be moved to the ceiling just inside the new bathroom doorway. The vanity (900mm) unit will be located (old hallway) on the left-hand side just as you walk in and the led shaving cabinet (900mm) just above it. The area where the vanity and shaving cabinet is the old hallway and only 1 meter approximately wide. The vanity unit ​would need to be a depth of 350mm with 2 drawers and the above the vanity basin has to be a depth of 300mm with overflow protection. The bathtub is located on the left-hand side just inside the old bathroom. A freestanding fluted bathtub with the right corner and curve on the left is our preference. The new bathtub has a length of 1700 length and a width of 700 with an e overflow protection. The bath and basin taps should be square or rectangle in shaped on a plate and all fixtures in chrome. The bathroom tiles color called bracca bianca 600 x 600 in size. A frameless shower screen on the floor tiles leading to a shower grate for the shower drainage. Our house dates from the 40s or 50s, and is solid brick. There's an extension on the back of the house, that we suspect dates from about the 70s, and is made of some kind of sheeting - maybe... Since we moved in seven years ago, there's been a small crack along the ceiling where the extension connects to the back of the original house, a connection about 1.5m in length. Recently the crack has widened considerably, and is now about 2cm wide. In about the last week, water has started leaking through the toilet ceiling - the toilet is adjacent to the extension connection. We're looking for advice on whether we can shore up the extension and patch the roof, or whether the whole thing needs to come off and a new back exterior wall and door fitted. We don't think we're ready to replace the extension at this stage, although that is the long-term plan. We believe there is also some water pooling under the house, and we'd like advice on what problems this might be causing (is this related to the above?) and how it could be fixed.
