Bathroom reno

Have a leak in our shower and need to replace it. We want to use the opportunity to gut and modernise our bathroom (1.76 x 2.4 m), keeping the existing layout. Looking to replace our shower, toilet, floor tiles (~2.5 m2) and wall tiles (~7m2), but keep our existing vanity. Position of fittings will not change but new shower base is wider than the one we have now (1200 vs 900 mm), so the drain will need to be shifted by 150 mm. Would be nice to shift toilet by ~30mm if this proves easy to do but not necessary). Bathroom is on the first floor, timber frame construction.

We will supply finishing hardware (shower base/screen/head/mixer, toilet and tiles) but require someone for the fit out (including all building consumables, other materials). Would like to keep costs down so I will do the demolition and am happy to lend a hand with other steps (hanging cement sheeting, waterproofing, etc) if this makes a difference.

Would appreciate references/examples of work from former customers.

It is our only bathroom and we have our first born on the way so we need to get the work done in October. We would like to minimise the number of days without a toilet.

Cheers,

Andrew and Jo
