Hi,
We are looking for renovation builders/bathroom renovation specialists to carry out the following work on our weatherboard property in Greensborough. House is on stumps and there is good access under the house. The floor is tiled.
The current situation
The current layout of the house is not ideal. The current layout has only one toilet on the level which is not ideally located. To get to the toilet one has to go through the laundry. We are looking to modify this areas to accomplish the following.
Proposed Order of works.
Demolish the existing internal partition walls for the toilet and laundry (No load bearing)
Create a new areas into the living area by moving small existing internal wall of living area and laundry. (Not load bearing.
In the new created space
We are looking to :
1. Make a separate bathroom with toilet
2. Separate laundry area
3. Create a pathway directly from living into the (existing) covered deck in the back.
4. Closing out the current walkway from kitchen to covered deck to create a walk-in pantry.
5. Might look to extend opening from Living to Dining. (Low Priority as it could be load bearing wall)
I have some rough drawings and layouts that might explain the above a bit better to enable a quote. I am not sure if that is enough or further detail drawings needed.
Additional Information:
We will procure all the bathroom fittings/internal doors/ tiles etc. ourselves so exclude this from quote.
Quote is to be provided for labour, required building materials, plaster work etc. (Painting to be excluded)
All work is to be of quality.
Not sure council approval is needed, but all work is internal only.
