The bathroom is approx 1.73m x 2.74m with a toilet enclosed in a room within the bathroom.
We intend on knocking down these walls and re-arranging the bathroom to accommodate a washing machine. I am fairly certain it will be okay to knock down these walls as some of the identical units within the block appear to have had these walls removed or never included. Within the bathroom i intend on replacing the shower, toilet, vanity/basin, and re-tiling the floors.
Currently hot water is heated using electricity and we intend on changing this over to gas, so we will require someone to connect it. We have been able to confirm there is already gas connected to the property, just not to our unit.
Further to that we are also renovating our kitchen (4m x 1.713m. We will need some plumbing assistance there as the hot water system is currently hidden in a corner cupboard. I'm not sure if a new heating system will fit in there or whether it will be required to be moved.
We will probably try to assemble the flatpack cupboards ourself but will need assistance installing it along with appliances and the bench top.
We are currently in the planning stage of the renovation but i'm looking to get advice asap so that i can proceed to purchase the various parts and the renovation can proceed as soon as possible.
