I have a mint condition Kelvinator Magic uncle fridge and the compress has gone and needs replacing. Is there some fridge mechanic out there that can replace the compressor or can it be regassed? It’s got the old R12 gas in it. I cannot bare to part with it and am hoping one of you clever men out there can solve this for me. Happy to pay for your travel to Wye River as it is a remote location in addition to your service. The fridge cannot unfortunately be moved do you would need to travel to Wye River. I understand this is not going to be a cheap exercise but I am happy to pay whatever it costs to fix it. I just desperately want it fixed. I wish I could post images of the fridge because it is a museum piece and it’s worth the money to get it fixed if it can be.
