My Fridge needs some repairs. As per the normal operation of a fridge, the compressor cuts-off after it reaches the thermostat setting. The problem that started with my fridge a few days ago is that the compressor fails to start again even as the temperature rises and things inside start to warm up. At this time the lights inside keep working but there is no cooling.
To get the compressor to start again, I have to turn the power switch (at the wall) off and then back on again. Once this is done, the compressor kicks in straight away and continues to cool until it reaches the thermostat setting, after which the whole issue starts again.
