Older style Kelvinator 2 door fridge, lower freezer door broken

The lower freezer door has a slight bend in the joining of the door to the fridge, he door wont stay closed. I dont think it is a problem with the seals but is the actual frame work. It is only a tiny little fault. Also fridge has been in storage for 1 year and when turned on it makes a very high pitched noise, will this go away with time, is the fridge worth fixing and keeping? I am needing a quote as if too much will just give the fridge away but if not expensive will keep it.
