Lemair Wine Fridge - residual current circuit breaker trips

5 year old Lemair wine fridge, has been unplugged for around 9 months during renovations. Before was working fine, but now when turned on, runs for a few minutes (compressor can be heard running and gas moving), then the residual current circuit breaker cuts in.
Tried it on two different circuits and electrician sees no overload for either circuit whoich leads him to believe it's the wine fridge.
