I have a GE side by side refrigerator (model # TFG 22JRWW) with a broken ice maker. The ice maker has 2 problems, the ice auger has broken the rear guide in the casing and the large driven gear at the front of the ice making unit is worn and does not turn. Are you able to repair this type of unit and if so what would be the approximate cost of this repair? Is it more economical to replace the whole ice maker unit?
