Repainted enamelled bathtub requiring to be restripped & renamelled

The bath/shower (built into an alcove) also has a partial glass swinging door which is supported by a vertical post. The end of the post is attached to the bath (armrest) with a co-polymer sealant so I don't know whether the post holding the glass door will need to be removed prior to enamelling. It would be good if the enameller could also remove the post and reattach after enamalling.
