Bathtab surface minor peeling and cracking repair

renting a place in preston. i suspect the bathtab is a fibreglass tub but could not be 100% sure. there are a few places where the covering / paint has chipped off. the biggest area which is about the size of a 20 cent piece is beginning to crack even more so was hoping that is could be repaired without having to resurface the whole tub.
