This has been leaking for a long time and has been patched up numerous times with silicon, but this approach appears to have reached its limit.
A container is currently collecting leaked water behind the toilet.
The reason this hasn't been fixed properly in so long is because we are planing to rebuild soon and want to spend as little money as possible on the current house.
