I’m looking to replace a hot water system currently located in my apartment. It is located internally and it’s in a cupboard between the kitchen and bathroom. This is to service 3 to 4 people.
There is currently a 140 litre Saxon electric hot water tank installed. I’m looking to replace it with another electric hot water tank, between 200 and 250 litres. I will require removal of the current tank and installation of the new.
I have a few questions:
1. Can you please quote me on the removal of the current hot water tank and replacement/installation of a new hot water tank?
2. Is it better if I buy the tank myself and have you install it?
3. Is there any advantage to a particular brand?
4. What brand do you recommend?
5. Given that I do not have gas at the premises and it’s strata and don’t have permission for solar, which is the cheapest option?
6. When are you available?
I’m looking to do this as cheap as possible with a lifespan of about 10 years.
