Replace copper water pipe from meter to house

The copper pipe from the water meter to our house is old and corroded and recently started to leak. I've exposed about half of the pipe to find and temporarily patch the leak. I'd like the full length of the pipe from meter to house (about 13 metres) replaced, preferably with a plastic pipe, as the leak appears to have been caused by tree roots crimping the copper pipe.
