Remove vulcan 60 gas heater and cap gas pipe. Electrics are disconnected, gas has been disconnected at the shut off valve, air ducts and chimney pipe have been disconnected.
Can't slide past a pipe which is the gas pipe. The issue is we live in an old apartment block (unit 4 of 12 units). So we are afraid to turn the gas off from the mains. Turn mains off at front of the property.
