Re-install pump & converter to tank/mains after diagnosing initial problem

When a toilet was flushed the pump would attempt to draw water from the tank (full), but when pump couldn't draw tank water it would not stop and draw water from the mains, so the pump/converter would just squeal until we pressed the manual override which operated well.
The Pump and converter has been disconnected. There may also be a mains pressure issue at the pump, which may not present at the meter.
