Plumber needed to replace botched tap installation.
I require a plumber to install a new hot and cold water tap set up. This tap was replaced some 5 years ago but was not done properly with poor materials, resulting in the washer not aligning with the seat properly, and the seat eventually cracking. Grinding or reseating the seat is no longer an option.
The tiles and gyprock have already been removed. House is 25YO, pipes are copper.
I would like a quote for replacing this with either a two tap system (hot and cold) as it currently is, or with a mixer tap. Also advice on which is better.
If the job is done well, more jobs will be quoted on at time of repair (a few plumbing issues with other taps in the house).
Plumbers skilled at minimally invasive repairs are highly regarded (not having to demolish half of a bathroom to get to a tap)
