Due to building works I need to relocate the main meter and my sub/check meter, and run a new pipe from my sub/check meter to connect to my property's water main. This will also include relocating a garden tap. Dimensions: The meters need to be moved appx 1.8m to the right of their current location (closer to the boundary). Their set back does not need to change. The relocated garden tap shall be located with the meters. The length of pipe required to connect the relocated sub/check meter to my house's existing plumbing is appx 10m. All existing plumbing is copper, and above the ground once it reaches the house. I have contacted the water authority and they have advised that these works comply with their requirements and that no further action is required. There is no common property and no approval of a 'body corporate' or other body is required. This work will result in the water supply to my neighbour being interrupted. This will not be a problem. I would like a compliance cert. I am interested to know how much $ I would save if I did all the digging for you. Thanks
