The house has a gravity feed hot water system that works well in the kitchen, laundry and two bathroom sinks. In the shower, however, the hot water has slowed to a trickle, making it impossible to shower. This has occurred intermittently over the last two months, but now seems to be permanent - the water is hot, but it just doesn't come out of the shower head. Before jumping to the conclusion that a new hot water system is required, the problem needs to be investigated.
