There is an excessive amount of water wasted in the kitchen because of the long distance from the hw unit. an electric underbench hot water unit would eliminate this problem. i'm open to any other solution. as an aside, whilst the plumber was on site he could loosen a mixer valve on a aquamax hot water unit as well.
